Self improvement is something to never stop striving for! But sometimes we just don’t know what we need to do next. The purpose of my blog is to help others learn to live their best life and become their best self, so I sat and thought about the things that always make my days better (whether I’m good or not about doing them daily lol!). These daily things to do will help you to live a better life each day. When your day becomes better, you become better, ya know?
This list is filled with simple and easy to implement tips that will definitely improve each day of your life! It will teach you simple changes that will teach you how to love yourself, how to love your life, and how to fully embrace each day. Time to change your life for the better!

75 Daily Ways To Live A Better Life
- Have something to look forward to when you wake up
- Wake up earlier
- Wake up to a calming alarm (I use & love the app Sleep Cycle. It wakes you up gradually & when you’re in a light sleep so you’re not as tired!)
- Get up to your first alarm
- Wake up to natural sunlight (I always keep my shades a bit open to let in sunlight!)
- Drink of water when you wake up
- Make your bed
- Establish your goals for the day (Or use to-do list! Write them done on your phone or on paper to refer to it!)
- Treat yourself (Ex. Ice cream, coffee, a solo date night, cake)
- Stay hydrated throughout the day
- Decide on the focus of your day (Is it a productive day? A rest day? An adventure day?)
- Open all the blinds (Fill your life with LIGHT! 🙂 )
- Make time for something you love
- Take a break from social media
- Talk to someone you love
- Get ready (Even if it just means throwing on some clothes other than your PJ’s, or do your hair and a bit of makeup!) Check out my post on overnight, heatless beachy waves!
- Make time for down time
- Play an upbeat playlist
- Spotify makes playlists for you based on what you listen to!
- Prepare for your next day the night before
- Spend time outside
- Try something new to improve yourself (I like to try new skincare, makeup, or hairstyles!)
- Take a break from your phone
- Have alone time
- Do your ‘hardest’ chores in the morning (This is when you’re most productive!)
- Eat breakfast
- Exercise (You can find lots of YouTube workouts if you need some! I recommend Chloe Ting!)
- Watch an inspirational video or read an inspirational book
- Do something productive
- Always stay motivated & inspired (It lifts your mood!)
- Reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in a while
- Get out of the house (Even if it’s just going for a drive!)
- Do something that inspires or fulfills you
- Create a bucket list & do something on it
- Sit in the sun
- Appreciate nature
- Say 3 things you’re thankful for
- Try something new (Maybe a recipe or DIY!)

- Socialize without your phone
- Make time for hobbies (Art, gardening…whatever it may be!)
- Clean something (It will make you feel better!)
- Watch an episode of a show you love
- Hug someone
- Turn your phone off an hour before you go to bed (I recommend setting app limits in the phone settings to help with this! I do it and it works well!)
- Reflect on your day
- Always find something to get excited about
- Tell someone you love them
- Cleanse your mind of negative thoughts & worries before you go to sleep
- Keep your mind open to new ideas
- Work on patience
- Wear clothes you feel confident in
- Be fully yourself
- Remind yourself of why you are worthy of love, success, & happiness
- Think of 3 things you love about yourself
- Think of things you want to improve about yourself (& work on them! For me, patience is it!)
- Keep inspiration close to you
- Affirm yourself that you can make your dream possible
- Work on achieving your dream, whatever it may be (Ex. A certain vacation, starting a successful blog, etc.!)
- Respond to all your messages
- Dance to positive music
- Focus on smiling more
- Seek positivity in everything
- Organize your room
- Listen to a new song
- Allow yourself time to think
- Say yes to new opportunities
- Plan to do things that will make you happy
- Go on an adventure of some sort (Even to the basement if that’s what it takes lol!)
- Write down negative thoughts & throw them away
- Learn something new
- Be more intentional
- Allow yourself to feel emotions
- Surround yourself with positivity and positive people
- Do something that will make you feel fulfilled
- Never end a day in an argument or feeling negative
